My-Chosen Café: A Family-Friendly Gem in Victoria, BC

If you travel with kids or any one young at heart, you must visit this restaurant. It's well worth you spending about 15 minutes turn from the HWY 14 go there for a meal, a pizza and an ice-cream. Just go there you will love it. The food, the price, the service and atmosphere are top-notch. Don't forget to visit the little animals farm at the back. If you don't have time for a meal, you can order pizza at the back. While you are waiting for the pizza you can visit and talk to the donkeys. There are a post states that no matter what donkey tells you just don't open the gate. I do talk with the donkeys but they didn't tell me opening the gate. There are a few picnic tables for you to enjoy the pizza while watching the animals. They have a bakery and candy shop in the restaurant too. It's a lovely family restaurant in this area for long time.

I stopped by on my own just looking for a good meal and ended up finding a great spot with a cozy cabin vibe that I really like. I sat at the counter, and even so, the service was friendly and attentive. I went with the day’s special—a chicken fajita wrap—which was super tasty. I also had a Lucky Lager on tap, which hit the spot. Overall, it was a great experience! I spent around $35 CAD including the beer and a tip. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu.

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. What really stood out was the cheesecake—hands down the most delicious I’ve ever had! Rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, it’s worth the trip on its own. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the welcoming vibe. The café is located in a beautiful area, surrounded by nature and charm, with plenty of parking, which made the visit even more convenient. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a warm, relaxing spot with great food and exceptional desserts.

The ambience is cozy and charm, ideal for relaxing. The food is absolutely delicious, with bold, global flavours and fresh local ingredients. Right next to it, there’s a beautiful little store that sells local honey, artisan teas, handmade sweets, spices, and more—perfect for bringing a taste of the experience home.

We had a great breakfast here at My Chosen Cafe. A very worthy detour on the way from Victoria to Port Renfrew. The restaurant was decorated nicely and the animals out back were a great surprise. The bakery looked delicious but we were too full to try anything. Be prepared for massive portions!

We were here for dinner on Friday May 24. The food and service was excellent. Big portions and great food. We are from Ontario and visiting family in Langford. Visited here last year and decided to come back. This place did not disappoint, food and service were great.I would highly recommend this place if visiting from out of town.

I indulged in a delectable fish burger accompanied by crispy yam fries, while my friend savored a succulent steak sandwich.
